If not, set it so. It seems to be an issue after the upgrade to windows 7 x64 xound with vista i had no problem like this.
It may be the SigmaTel. Are these the ones you are referring to thread and download link? Does the front panel audio work?

How I found out was by changing the processor by borrowing my dad’s e processor and installing it into the board.
Yup, front panel jacks work, and yes, I considered cutting my losses and just using those, but I want to persist to see if I can get the rear working. If i have nothing going on, my sound is laggy and cracks.
What about teh generic windows dirver? So, dynamic fsb caused problems on this processor huh! Is it a dreaded name for some?

Please spund a title. It works great and has the System Mixer function. If Intel doesn’t release any new drivers, I might get an external soundcard which i guess will resolve the issue. Most of the firewire recording interface units are designed around the T.
